The CSA DATA BASE is located at http://www.cryogenictreatmentdatabase.org/
The articles in the data base were reviewed by a CSA Committee consisting of Dr. Randall Barron, Tom Siewert, and Rick Diekman.
Dr. Barron is one of the most respected names in the field of cryogenic processing. His research has formed the basis for much of the knowledge we have in the field.
Dr. Tom Siewert is the Supervisory Metallurgist, Materials Reliability Division, National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Rick Diekman is the president of Controlled Thermal Processing, Inc.
This data base originated with a data base that was assembled by Controlled Thermal Processing, Inc. It had been stated goal of the ASM Cryogenic Processing Sub-Committee for a long time to create such a data base and publish it so it is available to researchers and people who wish to study the cryo process. We handed our data base over to both the ASM Cryogenic Processing Sub-Committee and CSA so it could be expanded and made available to people who want to study cryo treating. Controlled Thermal Processing is a glad that this data base has been made public and has taken steps to promote it.
The Cryogenic Society of America
www.cryogenicsociety.org
CSA is a non-profit technical society serving all those interested in any phase of cryogenics, the art and science of achieving extremely low temperatures — almost absolute zero.
The only full-time technical society and trade association concerned solely with cryogenics, they are the organization for cryogenic engineering and all things related to the cryogenic industry. Their members work in space programs around the world in high energy physics, industry, research labs, astronomy, air separation and LNG industries, and academia.
