Customer support is an important part of our business. We work to help both the customers who buy our machines and those who use our processing services. We've helped companies as far away as Australia and India start up.
IF YOU PURCHASE A CRYO PROCESSOR FROM US
If you buy a machine from us, we will work to help you set up your operation. We will give you pointers as to what things are needed in the shop and how to avoid some of the common pitfalls that we've noticed in the past. We work with our customers to advise them as to how to run parts most effectively. We advise our customers on effective policies, literature, and web pages.
Why? Because we know that the best way for our market to grow is to have the companies out there selling the process be knowledgeable about the process and how to apply it. We have multiple competitors who make silly claims and statements about the process. If we help our customers avoid these pitfalls they will be more successful, and so will we.
Many of our customers take the time to visit our Boston Area office to see their machine and to learn how to run the machine and program the control. This visit is not mandatory because running and programming the machine is not difficult and explicit directions for this are included in the machine's manual, but it also allows the customer to talk with us about a whole range of topics relating to how they intend to use their machine.
How long do we do this for? We've been in business for over 25 years, and are still in contact with most of our customers.
IF YOU HAVE US PROCESS YOUR PARTS
We work with a lot of our customers to help them get the most out of our process. Cryogenic processing is useless when the part being treated has improper heat treat, forging defects, improper materials, grinding burn, or other manufacturing defects. It was Controlled Thermal that found and helped eliminate a forging defect for a connecting rod manufacturer. We found a heat treating problem for an axle maker and helped specify a proper heat treat that, when combined with cryogenic processing made an axle that was extremely tough and wear resistant. We helped an impact socket manufacturer specify a proper material to sove a splitting problem. Our experience has helped boat owners to get around gears that were wearing out too soon, and racing teams solve lifter problems.
We do more than just cryogenic treatment. It is our goal to help manufacturers produce the finest possible products and reduce costs. It is our goal to help racers finish every race. Our goals are to use our metallurgical knowledge to create better performance on the track and in the factory.
